Larger-format pool tiles are one of the clearest ways to modernise a pool without changing its shape: fewer grout lines mean a smoother, more continuous surface, and a pool that reads as noticeably bigger and calmer than the same shell tiled in a small mosaic. At Artisan Exterior, three of our glass mosaic collections are built specifically around this large-format approach.

Australian Collection

Part of our Hisbalit Mosaico Series, the Australian Collection takes its four tile designs, Devonport, Lizard, Orpheus and Whitehaven Sand, directly from Australian coastline colour and texture. Each tile is crafted from 100% recycled glass on a thermo-polymer backing system, which is what gives the format its structural stability at a larger module size.

Coast Collection

Our Coast Collection is a 40x40mm format in seven variants, Bluff, Coral, Dune, Fin, Salt, Shell and Siren, with an unglazed matte finish and a P5 slip rating, so it holds up around bare feet as well as it does visually. Read the full Collection guide for the material story behind it.

From The Earth Collection

The From The Earth Collection is designed to emulate natural stone, marble and slate tones across ten designs, including: Core, Era, Fragment, Origin, Ossido and Trace. for anyone who wants the large-format benefit with a more organic, stone-like palette.

Custom Orders for Larger Formats

Need a format outside our standard range for a specific project? Our team can arrange custom orders for larger formats on request - talk to us early in your design process, as lead times are longer than for stocked sizes.

Five-Year Warranty, Peace of Mind

Every tile across these three collections carries a five-year manufacturer's warranty for residential use, backed by the same thermo-polymer backing system that makes the large-format module possible in the first place.

The Benefits of Large-Format Pool Tiles

Fewer grout lines mean less visual “noise” at the waterline and less surface area for algae and staining to establish along joints - a genuine maintenance benefit, not just an aesthetic one. The result is a pool that looks larger, cleaner and more contemporary, with a lower long-term upkeep cost than the same shell finished in a small-format mosaic.
